Two support groups take place simultaneously in the Quebec City region: the first group is intended for caregivers and the second group is for people living with ALS. Free parking.
You are welcome as of 1:15pm to exchange with others before the start of the support group.
Special conference on nutrition
Proper nutrition is an important element in the course of the disease for someone afflicted with ALS. Ms. Genevieve Lapointe who is a nutritionist at the Neuromuscular Clinic at the Enfant-Jésus Hospital will be present for a discussion on the importance of adapting nutritional needs in order to not lose weight as well as speak about the existing challenges for those with bulbar ALS.
Time: 1:30pm to 3:30pm.
